This project held special meaning for me; it was love at first sight when I visited it for the first time. It is designed for vacation use, fully equipped for four people and offering every comfort. My client, who was assigned abroad for work, was kept informed throughout the entire process, from design to execution. We maintained regular communication, sharing ideas, and everything went smoothly. It is absolutely possible to work remotely.
I developed a comprehensive renovation project, completely transforming the spaces. It is a 1960s apartment with a conventional layout: 120 m² divided into many small rooms. From the beginning, I knew it was necessary to create a more open plan, connecting the spaces and allowing natural light to flow into every corner. The bathrooms are integrated with the bedrooms.
I selected modern materials in light tones, adding some touches of color, such as vintage-style Italian flooring in the bathrooms and a range of blues, inspired by the proximity to the sea. For the furniture, besides seeking a contemporary and Mediterranean style to match its stunning seaside location, I focused heavily on functionality. As for the curtains and upholstery, I chose high-quality fabrics that are easy to maintain.
