Renovation of an apartment located in the heart of Puerto Banús, designed for the private use of an Arab investor but also intended for tourist rentals. Given this dual purpose, it was essential to choose materials, furniture, and decor that were both functional and easy to maintain.
For the curtains, I selected a “linen-look” fabric made 100% of polyester, which combines the elegance of linen with the durability and easy care of polyester. The apartment originally had two bedrooms plus a service room, but I decided to convert the latter into a third bedroom, which added value and flexibility to the space. In this room, I installed natural fiber carpeting to bring warmth and texture, choosing this material as a suitable option for a less noble floor compared to the predominant marble in the rest of the apartment.
At the owner’s request, I kept some well-preserved furniture pieces, such as the sofa and the living room tables, integrating them into the new design. This allowed for the preservation of sentimental items while modernizing the space, achieving a balance between comfort, aesthetics, and functionality.
